Continuing our journey, we made stops at legendary local food spots: first at Juicy Beef in Bog Walk and then at Faith's Pen—a once-famous culinary landmark renowned for its, roasted yam, and other roadside bites. Despite the weather, spirits were high and the countryside was lush and inviting. local flavour and vibrant atmosphere. These stops were not just a respite from the road; they offered a glimpse into the authentic tastes of Jamaica, setting the stage for the immersive cultural experience that lay ahead.
